Welcome To My Iddy Biddy Life

One year ago I launched my online business Iddy Biddy Fitness Apparel, which is an online fitness clothing line for women. I want to share mt story as a young entrepreneur. My story as an entrepreneur isn't like a TV show or movie. I didn't have a mid-life crisis, I didn't decide one day that I would quit my job and start a business and I didn't have tons of extra money to get started. I'm your average 20 something 5'1" Canadian girl with BIG dreams, trying to turn my passion into my pay check. I want to share with you what it's really like to be a young female entrepreneur! I will share my experiences and what I've learned from working in retail, business and direct selling to get me to where I am today.



SO HOW DID THIS ALL START?!

Like many entrepreneurs, the inspiration was random! It was a visceral rush of adrenaline and ideas that I had to act on. I felt I needed to pursue these ideas or inspirations because it was all I could think about. I've always wanted to have my own business, I love inspiring others to be fit and healthy and I have a very creative mind that never stops! That being said, these inspirations came to me at a difficult time in my life. It was what saved me and what also challenged me. I am NOT a celebrity and could not just decide to start a clothing line, call up a few people and make it happen. At the beginning it was just ME.

I decided to start my business at a time when nothing was certain. I was going through a break-up, recently starting a new job and I was in the process of moving to a new place by myself. Launching my own business gave me peace of mind, it gave me something to strive towards everyday and gave me a reason to stay hopeful. I knew that if I put in the effort, hard working hours and my heart into it that I would succeed.

PEOPLE DOUBTED ME

I am very blessed that I have friends and family that supported me from the beginning and believed I could do anything I put my mind too,  but there were also non-believers and skeptics. I did not let those people determine my destiny and it fueled my determination to prove them wrong. I realized what I was attempting DID SOUND CRAZY! All I really had was a laptop, wifi and a business name in the beginning. There was a lot of work to do!

Within 2 months I designed my own website, found the perfect logo, recruited a few brand ambassadors and launched 3 original designs. THIS IS MY STORY. There's much more to come and share with you than appears on the surface, but this is my REAL LIFE as an Iddy Biddy Entrepreneur.
